Proof of intelligence

Unlocking new markets and efficiency gains with AI.

For founders and intrapreneurs aiming to innovate and tap into new markets, using AI can be a game changer. It offers fresh ways to boost efficiency and explore new opportunities. Getting from an idea to a practical AI solution is a careful process and different from regular software development. We’ve designed a specific research path based on our experiences with AI to make sure that when you decide to use AI, it’s going to be worthwhile and effective right from the start.

Proof of Intelligence

/pruːf ɒv ɪnˈtɛlɪʤᵊns/

Evidence, often in the form of a working prototype or AI model, that AI is a genuinely valuable addition to an organisation, process, service or product. A Proof of Intelligence is typically conducted before a milestone development sprint to test the technical feasibility of applying AI in a business case before investing in development and is therefore structured in a lean, evidence-driven way.

Steps for getting started with AI

  1. Step 1

    The exploration phase

Laying the groundwork for AI success

Thorough preparation is essential to ensure the creation of a meaningful AI solution. We typically initiate your AI journey by engaging in exploratory sessions with key stakeholders. In these sessions, we discuss the environment in which the AI model will be functioning, and we walk through processes that are currently in place where we aim to deploy AI. These sessions aim to crystallise the challenges and opportunities where AI can make a difference, setting a clear and measurable path forward.

  2. Step 2

    The Proof of Intelligence

Training AI models and creating prototypes

Following the exploratory sessions, we transition swiftly into the Proof of Intelligence phase. Here, the focus shifts from planning to action as our AI specialists begin crafting a model or prototype. This phase is the lion’s share of this track, and is about bringing the envisioned AI capabilities to life, demonstrating its effectiveness and alignment with the identified needs. At the end of this phase, we have a fully working AI model and/or prototype for us to validate whether it solves the problem.

  3. Step 3

    The decision-making phase

    Evaluating AI’s impact

With a functional AI model or prototype, we assess its performance and relevance to the target problem. This evaluation is crucial in determining whether the AI solution holds promise for further development or needs refinement. By concluding the Proof of Intelligence phase with a robust analysis, we provide the necessary insights to make an informed decision about integrating AI into your business or product.
